INTERNATIONAL FOOD FAIR IN BUDVA, 20th – 23rd April, 2017
Food fair, holding a special place within trade and promotional activities of food industries and the follow-up industries, is affirmed by UFI Approved Event sign, which was assigned by Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, emphasizing international and business significance of the event.
Dedicated to agro-business, the 43rd Food fair gathered exhibitors from fields of food industry, agricultural production, viticulture and enology, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, Mediterranean cultures, coffee industry, olive oil, apiculture and honey production, organic food, fish processing, confectionary products, packing and wrapping materials. It was intended for presenting equipment for food processing and preparation, products of chemical industry, producers’ offers, importers and distributor of agricultural mechanization, as well as products and services of distribution chains.
Connecting strategic economic branches, agriculture and tourism, in competitive atmosphere, there was provided opportunity for emphasizing quality of products and for enhancing business results. Concurrently with the 43rd Food fair, there was 26th International tourism exchange and fair of tourism and equipment for hotels and catering – METUBES organized as well, providing opportunity to the exhibitors to take advantage of the synergy of the two fairs. Traditional presence of the numerous audiences, representatives of the tourism industry, media and professional customers from Montenegro and region, ahead of summer touristic season, enabled the participants to achieve significant commercial effects efficiently and in a short time.
The organizers of the fair in cooperation with state and academic institutions, expert associations and individuals in field of agro-business, are going to continue with organization of successful events and programmes, and with inclusion of new components which would additionally improve quality of the event.
